On Tuesday December 5, 2017, Battalions Three and Four of the Deptford Fire Department were dispatched to 223 Blackwood /Barnsboro Road for a building fire. Engine 931 arrived first due and reported a commercial building with heavy fire on the Bravo side of the building. The All Hands box was struck bringing additional resources to the scene. On the arrival of Engine 921, the crew was detailed to complete the 5″ supply line and then send the crew forward to assist with suppression. The crews from Engines 922 and 923 and Ladder 926 were sent to the man power pool. The fire was brought under control and crews were released as the completed their assigned tasks.
