On January 10, 2018 the Gloucester County Fire Chiefs Association held their annual awards banquet at the Masso’s Crystal Manor Ball Room. This is an annual event that occurs to bring all of the County Fire Chiefs, Fire Officers, Honored Guests, and Firefighters together for a meal, comradery and awards presentation. This year’s keynote address was given by Philadelphia Fire Commissioner Adam Thiel. After the meal, Valor Awards were presented to members of the firefighting community of Gloucester County.

A UNIT CITATION was awarded to the below members for their actions at a dwelling fire on Shetland Way in April of 2018 were 6 people were rescued from second floor apartments

A LIVE SAVING Award was issued to the below members for their actions with a Cardiac Arrest call on Oak Avenue in April 2018 were the subject survived

A MERITORIOUS SERVICE Award was issued to a member for his actions at a Motor Vehicle Crash with fire in Glassboro, for which the unconscious driver was removed from the burning vehicle.
