On Friday May 20, 2016, Engine 921 and Brush Truck 925 were dispatched to the New Jersey Turnpike at the 31.0 to the 39.0 mile markers north bound for a large brush fire. The crews assisted the Cherry Hill and the MT Laurel Fire Departments who were fighting the fire in the wooded area along the eight mile stretch. Engine 921 operated in the Cherry Hill local as Brush Truck 925 operated in the Mt laurel local. Once the fire was placed under control, all units were released.
A Thank You to the New Jersey State Police and the New Jersey Turnpike Authority for providing a safe area with a lane closure and blocking units.
