On Thursday January 9, 2020, the Gloucester County Fire Chief’s Association held their 53rd Annual Awards Dinner at Masso’s Ballroom in Glassboro. This is an annual evening for members of the association and firefighters from Gloucester County get together to share a meal, drink and friendship. During the evening members of the Gloucester County Fire Community were given awards for various acts of valor during the years.
Firefighter Anthony Steigerwald of the Tacoma Boulevard Station received a Life Saving Award for his actions on July 13, 2019 with saving a man who was not breathing.
Captain Ron Taylor, Firefighters Constanine Sypsomos, James Osborne, Joseph Tull, and Brian Cooke each received a Life Saving Award for their actions on October 15, 2019 with saving a man who was in cardiac arrest.
A “Job Well Done” to everyone who received awards for their actions during the year.
