On Monday October 29, 2018 at 1845 hours firefighters from the Tacoma Boulevard Station and firefighters from the Princeton Boulevard Station (Oak Valley Fire Co.) were in attendance for a Foam Awareness and Foam Operations class. This class was held at the Tacoma Boulevard Station. Instructor, Fire Chief Pat Robinson of the Paulsboro Refinery, who is an instructor for the Gloucester County Foam Task Force, was on hand to to instruct the firefighters the operations on firefighting foam and its applications with the equipment used by the two stations. The training was in two parts, first the classroom awareness level training and then in the field for the operations hands on training. The instruction was centered on the actual equipment that the two battalions carry. Chief Robinson was outstanding with his presentations and the firefighters learned a great deal from his training.
