On Monday April 8, 2019, the members of the Tacoma Fire Company had the opportunity to hone their extrication skills. The vehicle that was donated was a modified minivan that was used for the disabled as it had a ramp in the side door and the the motorized doors. The vehicle also was lower to the ground as compared to vehicles without the modifications. The crews used the Hurst MOC II combination tool off of the front bumper of Squad 921. This action permitted the crew to know the limitations of the tool as well as what the tool is capable of. The crew used other tools and other skills to complete an extrication. A special Thank you to the donor for the vehicle.
