On Tuesday June 4th, Tower 926 with a staffing of 4 responded to the the Oak Valley Fire Company (Deptford FD Battalion One) for training on Truck Company Operations involving engine companies. The training started with a synopsis of what the responsibilities and tasks of the truck company are and went over the placement of the truck company and why it is so important that the Engine leave room for the truck. Once this was completed, the group went to a building under construction and demonstrated the positioning of the truck. The OVFC crew was split and half the crew were involved in the set up and use of the truck and the other half went over the equipment and ground ladder compliment carried. Each group went over each aspect. The crew of Tower 926 wishes to thank the officers and members for allowing us to come and train with them and for their great hospitality.
