On January 7, 2017 a 0201 hours, Rescue 938 along with Station 9-4, Engine 9-1 and Rescue / Engine 921 were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash with wires down on Fox Run Road. Upon arrival, crews found live wires on a vehicle overturned off the roadway with two (2) people still in the vehicle. PSE&G was asked to expedite their response and were able to cut the power to the wires on the vehicle in about 20 minutes. Crews from Rescue 938 and Rescue / Engine 921 stabilized the vehicle using Crutches and cribbing and then used the mobile power unit with the Hurst Spreaders to gain access to the patients in the vehicle on the drivers and passengers doors. Patients were removed by Deptford EMS and transported for evaluation. Crew were on the scene for over 2 hours.
