During the end of November and the first couple of weeks of December, the membership of the Tacoma Fire Company sponsored a “Christmas Tree Gift Card Raffle” to support the fire company. The volunteers of the fire company need to support the maintenance and care of our aging firehouse. During the year the fire company is involved in different fundraisers to help us complete this task. At the end of the year the membership decided to have this type of fundraiser. A Christmas Tree was donated and decorated. The membership then started collecting gift cards from numerous businesses in and around Deptford. These cards where then gift wrapped, given a number, and then placed on the tree. The membership then sold tickets for a drawing for the cards. This drawing was held and numerous winners were drawn. This fundraiser could not have been successful without the generous support of local businesses. The membership wishes to acknowledge the businesses that supported the Tacoma Fire Company:
