On Saturday July 18, 2020 at 1805 hours Battalion 94 was dispatched for a smoke investigation in the area of 912 Tanyard Road. Responding units were reporting a large column in the sky. Deptford PD officers arriving on location reported a working dwelling at 912 Tanyard Road. The Dwelling box was dispatched followed by the working fire box. Battalion Chief 9401 arrived on location finding a brush/rubbish fire in the area behind 912 Tanyard Road accessible from Delsea Drive and Catell Road. The dwelling box was immediately recalled and Brush Truck 925 along with Brush truck 1015 were special called. The rubbish was an abandoned boat which lit off the surrounding brush. crews were on location for approximately one hour.
