On Thursday April 13, 2023, on a beautiful sun filled day, the Deptford Fire Department came together along with other firefighters from across the region to bid our sincere farewell to Chief Jeff Pfeiffer, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty. All firefighters mustered at the Boucher Funeral Home on Delsea Drive in Deptford for the funeral. Chief Pfeiffer received all of the well deserved honors bestowed to a fallen firefighter with over 50 years of active dedicated service to the Almonesson Lake Fire Company (Station 9-8) and the Deptford Fire Department Battalion Three (9-3).
