On Saturday June 24, 2023, Deptford Mayor and Council unveiled a “Memorial Circle” at the roadway within Fasola Park. This memorial is dedicated to the Police, Fire, and EMS that serves Deptford. Today, Chief Jeff Pfeiffer of the Deptford Fire Department and Officer Bobby Shisler of the Deptford Police Department,who both lost their lives in the line of duty, were honored . Ladder Towers 926 and 936 flew the large American Flag as a back drop for the event. The event was attended by firefighters from all four battalions, including Chief Chris Pfeiffer and Firefighter Lou Centenni. A huge thank you to the Deptford Mayor and Council for sponsoring the event.
