Battalion 3 was dispatched for a brush fire in the area of 1437 Hurffville Road. Engine 923, Duty Piece for the township responded. Chief 9301 (Kell) arrived and found a large brush fire to the rear of the Timber Creek Park and special called Brush Truck 925. The fire was approximately 200′ x 200′ and spreading. The crews used 500′ of forestry line to combat the fire. Engine 931 provided a water supply for Brush 925. The crews from Engine 933 934 and 923 along with 925 contained and then extinguished the fire. It took some time to wrap up and restore the apparatus.
