Members and fire apparatus of the Deptford Fire Department converged on the grounds of the Union Fire Company in Blackwood Terrace, The Good Intent Road Station for their annual Fire Prevention and Open House. Fire apparatus was set up and opened up for the residents to check out the equipment. The DFD recruitment unit was set up and had give-a-ways and information on how to get involved with the fire department. The kids got to meet “Blaze”, the fire department mascot, and many pictures were taken. Rehab 9 our canteen from the Princeton Boulevard Station (Oak Valley Fire Company) were on hand to provide refreshments for those in attendance.
A Job Well Done by the crews of the Deptford Fire Department!
