On Sunday May 29, 2022, the Tacoma Fire Company along with other Deptford Fire Department units arrived in the Oak Valley section of Deptford to participate in the Memorial Day Ceremonies at the Buddy Powell Veterans Memorial. The event was started with a parade from the Oak Valley Fire House to the Oak Valley School to the memorial. Ladder Tower 926 flew the American flag 95′ in the air as members participated in the services. ” A Day Of Remembrance To Honor Those Who Gave So Much For This Country”
