On Saturday March 25th, Battalion 3 was dispatched for a vehicle fire at the Walmart parking lot at 2000 Clements Bridge Road. Squad 921 (duty piece) for the township responded with 4. The Squad arrived along with Engine 934 to find a well involved motor vehicle with extension to a van parked right next to it. The crews stretched two lines to quickly extinguished the fire and to prevent more damage to the exposure vehicle. The crews made contact with the owners of both vehicles and the Deptford Fire Department Fire Marshal’s Office conducted an investigation. There were no injuries and the crews remained on location for about 45 minutes.
