June 27, 2020 at 0048 hours, the Department Fire Department was dispatched for a dwelling fire on Carter Avenue. Ladder 946 arrived to find a 2 story wood frame dwelling with the attached garage well involved in fire. Captain 9402 ( Dom D’Alonzo) arrived on location assumed Incident Command and had county “Fill the Box” which brought additional resources to the scene. Tower 926 arrived and were detailed to the suppression group and on the first floor and make access to the garage from the kitchen area. Once the fire was under control, Tower 926’s crew assist with the salvage and overhaul. There were no injuries reported and the fire is under investigation by the Deptford Fire Department’s Fire Marshall’s Office.
